I love her so much. Whenever I was feeling down in college, Whit used to sing this to me to make me smile. One of the things I've come to terms with at this point in my life is that there is nothing I appreciate more than the friendships that I've established with the females in my life. It's really hard to find genuine female friends who actually have no negative intentions whatsoever - who understand that a black woman's struggles are already so heavy - that its our obligation to be the support system that we lack and need. It's nothing wrong with not being a shit starter and I love women that understand that. Whit is one of those women.
I think she's going to be here on Friday but I'm trying to convince her to come tonight. -crossing fingers-
